So here's what I chose to be my pieces:
2 tees (white, striped)
1 black cardigan
4 blouses (white, chambray, plaid, polka dot)
1 red blazer
1 black moto jacket
3 jeans (skinnyblack, skinny denim and denim flares)
3 pants (red corduroy, floral, polka dot)
2 skirts
1 dress
1 pair leopard flats
1 pair black booties
Using StyleBook, I mixed and matched all of my pieces. These are just a sample of the looks I created.
And here are the 3 weeks' worth of looks I actually wore.
The top left look I planned to wear, but ended up not getting dressed that day b/c of a sick kid!
I did it without even cheating! And did anyone notice that I wore 2 PAIR OF SHOES for 21 days??? I think I deserve a medal for that. I did feel like I had plenty of variety and never wore the exact same look twice. However, I missed all of the other clothes (and shoes!!!) that were sitting in my closet. A capsule wardrobe is now something I feel confident that I can do and do well. However, it is not my choice to do on a daily basis!
I thought you looked fabulous in all your Europe pictures.

Thank you Kim!
DeleteThat is very awesome! Your capsule was SO diverse! I'm doing a variation of Project 333. I recently watched the documentary True Cost and was moved by the devastating effects of fast fashion. I'm not a huge shopper but it grew my resolve to shop ethical producers of clothing or second hand when making purchases.
ReplyDeleteThis app looks so fun and you put together some cute outfits! Thanks for sharing on Funtastic Friday!
ReplyDeleteAll of your outfits are great, but I also just wanted to say I love your hair!! :)
